- Payment information processed through Razorpay (we do not store card/bank details)
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information (model, OS version, unique device identifiers)
- Location data (approximate city/area for showing nearby listings)
- App usage data (screens visited, features used, time spent)
- Crash reports and performance data via Firebase Crashlytics
- Push notification tokens via Firebase Cloud Messaging
2.3 Information from Third Parties
- Google Sign-In profile data (name, email, profile picture) if you choose to sign in with Google
- Location data from Google Maps when you pick a property location
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Verify your identity via OTP
- Display relevant property listings based on your location and preferences
- Enable communication between tenants and property owners/brokers
- Process payments for subscription plans and contact credits
- Send push notifications about new listings, messages, and account activity

4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 With Other Users
When you contact an owner or reveal contact details, your in-app name may be visible to the other party. Your phone number is only shared with explicit consent through the contact reveal feature.
4.2 With Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the App:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, storage, analytics, crash reporting
- Razorpay — payment processing
- Google Maps — location services
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority under applicable Indian law including the Information Technology Act, 2000.
4.4 We Do Not Sell Your Data
nestspace does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data is stored on Firebase servers (Google Cloud Platform) with servers primarily located in the Asia South (Mumbai) region. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- OTP-based phone number verification
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Firebase Security Rules to restrict unauthorized data access
- Regular security reviews
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account
- Property listings: Retained for 90 days after deactivation, then archived
- Chat messages: Retained for 12 months after the last message
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law

Under applicable Indian privacy law (Information Technology Act, 2000 and DPDP Act, 2023), you have the right to:
